By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, or that a parent or legal guardian has done so on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has accessed the Services without parental consent, we will delete the associated data promptly. Contact us at legal@pureka.co if you believe this has occurred.
We do not target advertising to users under 18.
Pureka is a browser extension that enables users to analyze supplement and food product ingredient lists on supported retail websites. The extension identifies ingredients of potential concern and suggests alternative products. Pureka uses a proprietary methodology to evaluate products; this methodology represents our editorial judgment and does not constitute medical or clinical assessment.
Jodi is an AI-powered wellness companion that communicates with users through text messaging (SMS and WhatsApp), voice notes, photo analysis, and live voice calls. Jodi's voice is AI-synthesized and not a recording of a human person. Jodi provides personalized supplement and nutrition guidance informed by your health profile, stated preferences, and published research.
You can opt out of proactive messages at any time as described in Section 5.3.
Jodi is not a doctor, dietitian, or licensed healthcare professional, and nothing she tells you should replace professional medical advice. She is designed to help you make more informed decisions about supplements and nutrition — not to diagnose, treat, or prescribe anything. When in doubt, always talk to your healthcare provider before making changes to your supplement regimen or diet.
Certain features of the Services require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may register using your email address and a password, or by authenticating through a supported third-party sign-in provider. By using a third-party sign-in method, you authorize us to access and use certain account information from that provider, consistent with your privacy settings on that platform.
For Jodi's messaging and voice services, your account is linked to your phone number. We may send a one-time verification code to confirm ownership of that number.
By providing your phone number and affirmatively opting in to the Services at the point of sign-up, you provide your express written consent, as required under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws, to receive automated and non-automated communications from Pureka and Jodi, including:
This consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Consent is captured at the time you enter your phone number during registration and affirmatively check the consent acknowledgment. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency may vary and may include multiple messages per day depending on your interaction with the Services.
Live voice calls with Jodi may be recorded and processed for the purposes of generating responses, improving service quality, and maintaining conversation continuity. By initiating or accepting a voice call through the Services, you consent to such recording and processing.
If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires all-party consent to record a call — including but not limited to California, Illinois, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington — your use of Jodi's voice features constitutes your consent and the consent of all parties to the call to be recorded. Do not use Jodi's voice features if you are unwilling to be recorded.
You may opt out of SMS and WhatsApp messages from Jodi at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may opt out of voice calls by contacting us at legal@pureka.co. After opting out, you may receive a single confirmation message. Opting out of communications does not delete your account or data.
Certain features of the Services involve the processing of voice recordings. In jurisdictions that regulate the collection and use of biometric identifiers or biometric information — including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), and analogous laws in other states — we provide the following disclosures:
By using Jodi's voice features, you consent to the collection and processing of voice data as described above. Illinois residents have the right to request deletion of their biometric data by contacting us at legal@pureka.co.
Pureka participates in affiliate advertising programs. When you click certain product links generated by the Services, we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Our participation in affiliate programs does not influence the editorial independence of our ingredient analysis or product recommendations, and does not affect the price you pay.
All content, software, design, branding, product names, and proprietary methodologies made available through the Services — including Jodi's AI intelligence, conversation capabilities, ingredient analysis, and recommendation systems — are the intellectual property of Pureka LLC and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret law.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own personal wellness purposes only.
Commercial use of the Services is prohibited without a separately executed Business Agreement with Pureka LLC. Commercial use includes, without limitation: using Jodi or Pureka in connection with a paid service you offer to clients or customers; incorporating Jodi's guidance or recommendations into a business offering; directing clients, patients, members, or customers to use Jodi as part of a service you provide; or using Jodi on behalf of third parties in a professional or compensated capacity.
The Jodi and Pureka brand names, marks, and product identity may not be used in co-branded, white-labeled, or derivative contexts without express prior written consent from Pureka LLC, which may be granted on an expedited basis for time-sensitive commercial arrangements.
Unauthorized commercial use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access and legal action. To inquire about authorized commercial access, contact legal@pureka.co.
Commercial use of the Services requires a written Business Agreement with Pureka LLC. Business Agreements are available to qualifying organizations including businesses, gyms, wellness studios, healthcare practitioners, and supplement brands. To inquire, contact legal@pureka.co. Pureka evaluates commercial access applications at its sole discretion.
When you submit content to the Services — including product photos, health information, voice notes, or text messages — you grant Pureka a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, process, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services. You retain ownership of all content you submit.
You represent that any content you submit does not violate applicable law or the rights of any third party.

To ensure fair access and protect the integrity of the Services, we apply usage limits to accounts. These limits govern the number of messages, voice minutes, and other interactions available within a given time period. When you approach or reach a usage limit, Jodi will notify you within the conversation. We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time with reasonable notice.
The Services are offered at no charge. We may introduce paid subscription tiers or modify access levels at any time with advance notice. We will never charge you without your affirmative consent.
We employ automated systems to detect and prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and misuse of the Services. By using the Services, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or permanently block any phone number or account that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive behavior. If you believe your number has been incorrectly blocked, contact us at legal@pureka.co.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components; that ingredient analyses will be complete or accurate in all cases; or that Jodi's responses will be medically accurate or appropriate for your specific circumstances.
Jodi's product recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence based on publicly available ingredient data, general nutritional research, and your stated preferences. These recommendations are informational only. They do not account for your complete medical history, current medications, allergies, or individual physiological circumstances. You assume full responsibility for any purchase or consumption decision made in reliance on a Jodi recommendation. We strongly encourage you to verify any recommended product with a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Pureka LLC shall not be liable for any adverse reaction, injury, illness, or other harm arising from your use of any product recommended by Jodi or identified through the Services.
The Pureka extension and Jodi analyze ingredient information sourced from third-party retail websites and product listings. We do not control the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that data. Product formulations change, labels are updated, and retail listings may be incorrect or outdated. We make no representation that the ingredient information analyzed by the Services reflects the current formulation of any product. You should always verify ingredient information directly on the physical product label before purchase or consumption.
The Services rely on artificial intelligence to generate responses and recommendations. These outputs are probabilistic in nature and may not reflect complete, accurate, or current information. Pureka does not guarantee the reliability, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to Pureka in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100 USD).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pureka LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, the following sections survive: 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 18.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, these Terms control.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@pureka.co within 30 days of your first use of the Services, including your full name and the phone number associated with your account. Opting out will not affect any other provisions of these Terms.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you are a resident of a jurisdiction where mandatory arbitration of consumer claims is prohibited by law, the arbitration and class action waiver provisions above shall not apply to you to the extent prohibited, and disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
